Welcome Home: An Exhibit of Works by
Active Duty Servicemen & Women and Veterans

The opening reception for “Welcome Home” will be held Thursday May 26 from 5-8pm. The
exhibit will run from Friday May 27 through Friday July 8 at the ArcWorks Community Art Center.
ArcWorks Community Gallery. 10-1 Monday-Friday, and 5-8p Thursday evenings at 22 Foster
Street, Peabody, MA.
ELIGIBILITY: The exhibit is open to all active duty servicemen and veterans. There is no entry
fee. The amount of space allocated to each artist will be based on available space.
REQUIREMENTS: All work must be original and created by the artist. Paintings, mixed-media,
sculpture, pottery, photography, printmaking and fine jewelry are eligible. Two dimensional work
must be suitably framed and firmly wired. No saw-tooth hangers or sandwich frames. Work may
be for sale. If we don't have enough room to display all work submitted, the hanging committee
will decide what will be hung.
ENTRY PROCEDURE: Artists interested in exhibiting are to contact Suzanne Ryan via phone at
(978) 624-2318 or via Email: sryan@ne-arc.org. Artist are to submit either images of the work to
be exhibited or representative work to Suzanne Ryan via email or post care of the Northeast Arc,
6 Southside Road, Danvers, MA, 01923 or if the artist has a website a link to the site may be sent
in lieu of images.
All work will be accepted and will be hung as space allows. Entry forms will be forwarded once
the artist has contacted Suzanne Ryan. Entry forms, your bio or resumé, and/or statement of
work and a photo for inclusion in to our show book must be received no later than May 16, 2011.
Work must be delivered to ArcWorks Community Art Center on Friday, May 20, 10-3 PM or by
appointment.
FEES/COMMISSIONS: ArcWorks Community Art Center will keep 30% commission on all work
sold. The gallery will be open on Monday July 11 from 12-3 for pick up of unsold work.
